What Is a VPN?
A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, allows your data to go through an encrypted connection from your device to another point on the Internet, before it reaches the public Internet.
This encrypted connection allows your data to pass through the internet behind the IP address of the VPN server rather than the IP address of your home router. This means that when you access Internet content whilst the VPN is switched on, your IP address and location are not exposed.
